3s are experiential learners and the curriculum supports this. The program offers opportunity for play, exposure to early literacy and hands on science and nature. Every day, blocks, dramatic play, art materials and sensory tables are accessible. From the large and extensive library which the children enjoy exploring, the reading experiences are extended through group readings and art activities. In this nurturing environment the children are encouraged to explore and engage in new experiences and develop skills that foster their growing independence. Self-help skills are supported and continuing to develop. The intricacies of problem solving skills are emerging and developing whether inside the classroom or out on the playground. We celebrate each child’s individuality and encourage their curiosity and sense of wonder.
