An additional component of our program is the varied specialists who are a part of the curriculum. We have Spanish once a week where the teacher incorporates music, songs, and movement into the instruction, making for a lively and fun experience. Yoga and movement have also been a part of the program.
Take a peek at our specials, by viewing these video clips:
- Spanish, taught by native speaker Ericka Reyes
- Yoga, taught by Darlene Adams, a retired Chatsworth Avenue School Kindergarten teacher
Periodically, staff from the Greenburgh Nature Center, the Sheldrake Environmental Center, and the Bruce Museum visit us to make special presentations. We also have visits from a pediatric dental group, fire fighters, and police officers, which connect the children to different facets of our community
